Biography

Adilson José De Pina, native of São Flipe Fogo island, resident in Praia, Santiago Island, Cabo Verde. Biologist, PhD Student in Public Health at Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, Master in Public Health at Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde, Master in Medical Entomology at Montpellier II University, France and Master in Human Biology and Environment, University of Lisbon, Faculty of science.
Responsible for the Malaria Elimination Program in the CCS-AIDS /MoH, Cabo Verde; External researcher in the National Institute of Public Health, member of PAMCA (Pan Africa Mosquitoes Control Association) and MIM (Multilateral Initative of Malaria), Principal Investigator representing Cape Verde in the Target Malaria Consortium.

Organisation details

The Coordination Committee to Combat HIV / AIDS, (CCS-SIDA in portugais) A, is a forum for ongoing coordination and consultation, and it is in the Committee's role to decide on measures to be taken at the national level on the HIV / AIDS framework. CCS-SIDA is also the Principal Recipient of funds provided by the Global Fund to Fight HIV / AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, since 2011.
