Youth Spotlight Initiative a non-governmental organization that consist of a multi-disciplinary team of health, social science and legal professionals working to support and empower girls, women and youths particularly in slum communities through capacity building, advocacy, education and research to lead healthy lives. My experience working in slum communities in Nigeria has exposed and revealed the dangers of vector-borne diseases, and very common to Nigeria is malaria. I strongly believe joining this network will present an opportunity to have intercourse with like-minds and learn more about how best vector borne diseases can be prevented and possible, eliminated.
