Project Manager/Technical Advisor/Entomologist with over 30 years’ experience in the field of malaria and other vector
borne diseases in Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, Angola, South Sudan and Cambodia with government and donor funded
programs. Project management expert, have implemented several large-scale projects in Asia and Africa. During the
long tenure with the disease control programs, actively involved in projects receiving funding from several international
agencies including the WHO, USAID, WB, Global Fund and RBM, provided technical guidance and worked collaboratively
with other government, non-government and private organizations on malaria control programs in several countries.
As a short-term consultant, completed assignments, providing technical assistance Capacity building and monitoring
and evaluation in Zambia, Ethiopia, Liberia and Mozambique. Competent in Project Performance monitoring, Statistical
analysis, database management. Worked nearly 7 years with Abt Associates, in USAID/PMI projects in the capacity of
Technical Advisor/ Chief of Party in different sub Saharan countries from 2009. Subsequently completed 9 months
consultancy in South Sudan as Medical Entomologist for NMCP with PSI under Global Fund. Since July 2018 working as
Deputy Chief of Party for USAID/PMI funded Cambodia Malaria Elimination Project. Member of the newly formed WHO
PQ-VCP (WHOPES) assessor team since 2017.
