My organization is a university and a teaching hospital . I see this network as an opportunity to expand my frontiers in tropical disease epidemiology, and update my knowledge on vector monitoring and vector control tools for disease control. I find it encouraging that there will be prospects for practical hands-on experience and networking for academic and professional development. I have always wanted to be a problem solver through impactful research and this has inspired me to scholarly activities as I currently have about 15 peer-reviewed publications. Therefore, I envisage that participating in this network will be a major boost to my career in many ways including being able to learn first-hand about effective strategies in the control of Malaria and related tropical diseases. Furthermore, I foresee an ample opportunity for networking, not only with established researchers and academics but also, budding researchers with a view to nurturing my budding career as a Public Health physician/researcher
