Organisation details

The Institut Pasteur de Côte d'Ivoire is a health research institute. It is part of the International Network of Pasteur Institutes (RIIP). It is made up of several departments, which are themselves subdivided into units, including the Entomology and Herpetology Unit, where I am based. This Unit carries out applied and fundamental research, public health and training activities. His research activities focus on the identification of potential vectors involved in the transmission of pathogen responsable (malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, Rift Valley fever, buruli ulcer... ), the assessment of the risks of their spread and the study of interactions between the different actors (vectors, humans, reservoirs and pathogens) in their environment to better understand the epidemiology of vector-borne diseases.
